According to the researchers, the concept of advancement the batteries to reduce the low impact of global warming or reduce the disposal of battery which created a negative environment impact. The researchers develop the new battery which water activated and have applied to for broad range of single use of electronic device. The concept of water activated new disposable paper battery could be published in journal scientific outline.
The scientists says that it used for power a broad range of low power. These electronic device are for single used such as smart level for tracking items, environmental sensors, medical diagnostic device etc. These are used which minimize the environment impact.
Development of water-activated new disposable battery? Who develops this device??
These electronic devices develop by Gustav Nystrom and colleagues. These are form by one cell which is one centimeter square. It also made up for three inks which is in rectangular shape of paper. These paper strip is covered by sodium chloride salt and the another end is dip into wax. The flat end of the ink paper is coated with graphite flakes which act as positive end of the battery i.e cathode , and the other side of ink paper is cover with zinc powder which act as the negative end of the battery i.e anode.
However, the another end of ink paper which is coated with graphite flakes and carbon black in both side. These two end of ink paper which connect with wire and deep into wax. These salt dissolve into the water when slowly slowly come in contact to salt then it release charged ion. These ion across the paper toto activated the battery. Then the wire attached to the electronic device which closed the circuit. That’s why the electron transfers from the negative end via the graphite and carbon black containing ink wire to the positive end, which transfers oxygen to the environment. These process can generate the electricity current which is used as power. Whether the scientists used two cell into one battery which is used to supply power in the alarm clock. Let’s discuss how our Indian technology develop the water battery. In Indian Institute of technology Roorkee the metal air battery which have 10 time battery energy of lithium ion. The scientists describe that the water is used in battery as a fule which can be changed or refilled in every 1000 kilometer. In this battery only required a regular replacement of aluminum anode. It needs to change every 1000 kilometre and it can be recycled. The benifit of this battery is to no need of recharging , no charging system .
The uses of the water disposal
There is some disadvantages of zinc in paper because the usages of paper and zinc can not decrease the environment impact disposal and low power electronic. The author said that the less uses of zinc in the paper can be increased the sustainability of battery. It also provide good electricity to the device. Now, the author has to demonstrate the ability of the battery to run in low power electronic. Analysing the performance of one cell battery are, adding two drop of water, the battery get activated within 20 seconds and battery is not connected the electricity consuming device the voltage get upto 1.2 volt. The normal alkaline battery having normal voltage is 1.5volts. After few minutes voltage get down because of the drying paper. Whenever again added two drop of water it maintain the normal voltage for more then additional hours.
